Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stanly Manly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and lewis mcgann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). lewis mcgann has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanly Manly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, lewis mcgann! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mcgann fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manly sprawls well initially but mcgann persists and gets the takedown into half guard. mcgann is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Manly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. mcgann is working away from the top position though. mcgann performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Manly could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manly is pressing down on mcgann's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. mcgann trying to control but Manly is working from the bottom. Manly can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as mcgann controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. mcgann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Manly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as mcgann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. mcgann wants to control from the top but Manly keeps moving. mcgann gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Manly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Manly tries to close the distance and clinch but mcgann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. lewis mcgann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. mcgann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Manly being controlled here, momentarily. Manly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Manly looking for a sweep. Not yet Manly, not yet. Manly looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. mcgann trying to control the position from guard on top but Manly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. mcgann tries to stand but Manly is controlling from the bottom. mcgann slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. mcgann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Manly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for mcgann but great work by Manly. mcgann looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Manly throws an elbow but mcgann slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
lewis mcgann dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
mcgann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manly pinned against the cage. Manly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Manly scores with a takedown into mcgann's guard. Manly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Manly drops back, looking for a kneebar! mcgann looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. mcgann looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from mcgann! mcgann working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. mcgann moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. mcgann has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Manly misses with a takedown and mcgann counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. mcgann looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. mcgann prevents Manly from improving his position. Still in half guard, mcgann seems content to control. mcgann decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Manly has his takedown stuffed and mcgann counters with a nice double leg into side control. Manly won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. mcgann works to advance to full mount. Manly defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Manly tries to lock up and control but mcgann gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. mcgann controlling from mount. mcgann lands a big elbow. mcgann breaks from Manly's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. mcgann putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! mcgann putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Manly tries to hold on but mcgann postures up. mcgann controlling the pace for now. mcgann thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
lewis mcgann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
mcgann lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by mcgann. Manly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
mcgann misses with a wild combination.
Manly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so mcgann counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Manly looking to hit a scissor sweep but mcgann is one step ahead there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manly looking to control.
mcgann throws a strike but Manly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. lewis mcgann has got the better of the ground game so far. mcgann wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Manly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. mcgann is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Manly throwing strikes but missing. mcgann looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. mcgann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
mcgann closes the distance and clinches up with Manly, looking for a takedown. mcgann pushes Manly against the cage but Manly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. mcgann fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manly sprawls well initially but mcgann persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. mcgann is keen to just control but Manly is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. mcgann trying to control from Manly's half guard. Manly has other ideas though and has regained full guard. mcgann trying to control the position from guard on top but Manly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Manly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
mcgann pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Manly is keeping the position for now. Manly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in mcgann's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Manly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as mcgann holds on and takes a little breather. Manly stops mcgann from standing up. mcgann is trying to keep Manly in close.
Manly postures up and lands a big shot to mcgann's brow. Manly wants to stand but mcgann is controlling his posture from full guard. Stanly Manly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! lewis mcgann is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. mcgann has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
And that's the end of the fight! lewis mcgann comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got mcgann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
