Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greek Rabio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nino Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Nino Marques will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rabio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rabio is breathing heavily.
Rabio tries to clinch but Marques is having none of it.
Marques lands with a slapping head kick.
Rabio misses with a body shot.
Marques throws a head kick that Rabio semi-blocks.
Rabio takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Marques clinches with his opponent.

Marques changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rabio fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Marques shoots in but Rabio avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Greek Rabio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nino Marques.
Rabio jumps guard and drags Marques to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Marques sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rabio's guard.

Marques has control of Rabio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rabio regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rabio sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rabio pushes Marques away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marques gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Rabio strikes from the bottom but Marques uses the opportunity to move to side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marques stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Rabio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marques.
Marques takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rabio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rabio throws a combination. Marques tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Marques wants the takedown. Rabio is fighting it off but Marques persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rabio's guard against the cage.

Rabio lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
