Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tota Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Healy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A Day to Remember - . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tota Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Healy! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Healy. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Healy's guard. Gracie controls from within his opponent's guard. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Healy is retaining full guard. Healy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Healy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie is stalling in the full guard. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Healy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Healy keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Healy is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard. Healy won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Healy is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie controlling the pace. Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Healy defends it. Healy pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Healy is defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gracie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Gracie tries to pass to full mount but Healy defends it. Healy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Healy keeps working. Healy is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Healy tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg. Gracie is pressing down on Healy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Healy is holding on for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Healy fails with the takedown and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gracie wants to control from the top but Healy keeps moving. Gracie passes Healy's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gracie controlling the pace. Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Healy defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tota Gracie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Healy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Healy fights it but they end up in guard. Gracie passes into half guard. Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gracie wants to take Healy's back here but Healy is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Healy is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Gracie has taken his back.
Gracie just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Gracie looking to break Healy's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Healy remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie controls the action. Gracie has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Healy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Healy turns into Gracie and is now in his guard.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Healy is proving a slippery customer.
Healy wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Gracie seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Healy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Healy trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie moves nicely into side control. Gracie wants to control but Healy is keeping him busy. Healy gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tota Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Healy is just holding on here. Gracie manages to take his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tota Gracie dominated that second round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Gracie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gracie advances to full mount. Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Healy is looking to escape. Gracie is looking to take Healy's back but instead Healy gets back to half guard. Nice work. Gracie stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Healy is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Healy defends it well. Gracie works his way into full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie looking to control and managing it successfully. Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Healy has worked his arm free - good work by Healy!
Healy is looking to reverse the position. Healy is trying to get back to his feet. Gracie passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Healy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie avoids the attempt from Healy to control. Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Healy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Healy! Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Healy is aware though and is defending well. Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Healy is one step ahead there. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Healy throws a big right hand that misses. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Healy's guard. Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gracie moves into full mount! Gracie controlling the position easily from mount. Gracie is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Healy is forced to tap! Great finish!
