The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward tries a head kick but it misses.
Ward misses with a double jab.
Starr moves into the clinch. Ward wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A frustrated look appears on Ward's face as he tries to break the clinch. Starr pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Starr pulls Ward in to control the position. Ward is looking to stand up but Starr won't let him. Starr has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ward doesn't defend quickly enough and Starr has managed to lock this one up! Can Ward escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Starr on a fantastic submission victory.
