Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dond Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Durell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dond Bond has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dond Bond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Durell! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bond moves away from the strike by Durell. No joy there for Durell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bond takes one on the button. Durell missing with a left hand there. Bond was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Durell lands a jab to the head.
Bond shoots in for a takedown but Durell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bond takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bond shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bond misses with a head kick.
A left and a right from Durell both land. Nice combination. Durell swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Durell takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nice uppercut lands for Durell. That snapped Bond's head back.
Durell is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Durell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Durell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bond was well out of range. Poor timing from Durell. Durell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bond at a distance.
Bond takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Bond shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durell pinned against the cage. Durell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dond Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durell fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond shoots in and drives through. Durell sprawls well. Durell leaves Bond with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bond is defended easily by Durell. Bond is breathing heavily. Bond moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Durell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A jab from Durell misses. Durell throws a right hand that Bond ducks under and follows up with a left that Bond also avoids with ease. Bond takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jab, jab by Durell - just one landing. Jab by Durell. Durell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Durell misses with a series of wild punches.
Bond dives in and grabs Durell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durell pushes down on Bond's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Durell catches Bond right on the button with a cross. Durell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Durell closes the distance and lands a one-two. Durell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bond misses with a head kick.

Durell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Bond had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Bond feints and as Durell raises his hands in defense, Bond changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Durell wants to stand and escape but Bond is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bond trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Durell has a closed guard, preventing Bond from standing up. Durell wants to get back to his feet but Bond is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bond might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bond controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bond has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Durell throws an overhand right that lands on Bond's shoulder, as Bond tries to avoid the shot. Bond shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Durell thows a left - swing and a miss! Durell works Bond's body with a nice hook. Bond misses with a body kick. Durell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bond. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Durell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bond moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Durell might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Durell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bond throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Durell's head. Bond looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Bond lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Durell dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bond wants to clinch. Bond fails with a takedown attempt. Durell tests Bond's chin there with a solid looking shot. Durell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bond. Bond circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Durell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Durell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Durell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bond misses with a few strikes there.
Durell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bond tries to clinch up but Durell circles away and keeps his distance. Bond slips a jab and a cross from Durell.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bond.
Durell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Durell wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dond Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durell dodges the punch combination from Bond.

Durell throws a shot from downtown. Bond moves away and avoids it. Durell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bond closes this distance looking for a takedown but Durell circles away. Michael Durell seems to be getting the better of the standup. Durell connects with a right hand. Bond shakes it off. Durell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bond. Bond circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A lazy left from Durell finds it's target. Bond shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durell as he jumps to the side. A shot to de liver by Durell. Beautiful body shot. Bond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Durell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bond tries to clinch but Durell is having none of it. Durell scores with a sloppy right hand. Bond should have avoided that one. Bond misses with a two punch combination.

Bond takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Bond moves into the clinch successfully.
Durell is trying to force a seperation but Bond has the dominant position. Durell is trying to break the clinch but Bond is controlling him. Bond tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Durell tries to circle away but Bond has him pinned against the cage. Durell is looking to break free of the clinch but Bond has double underhooks. Durell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Durell lands a jab-cross combination. Durell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bond shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Durell napping and manages to drive through into side control! Durell is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bond stands up. Bond wants to clinch. A lazy left from Durell finds it's target. Durell misses with a wild body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dond Bond will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Durell clobbers Bond with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Durell throws a right and a left that both miss. Durell lands a jab-cross combination. Bond pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A slapping leg kick lands for Bond.
Bond moves into the clinch. Bond lands an elbow inside that Durell shrugs off. Bond pulls Durell into guard.
Bond has a closed guard, preventing Durell from standing up. Bond tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Durell wanted to stand there but Bond had control of the position. Bond pulls Durell in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durell postures up.
Bond has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Durell has passed into side control.
Durell wants to stand but Bond is controlling his arm. Bond pushes Durell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Durell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Durell scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Durell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Durell throws a series of punches but Bond moves out of range. Bond moves into range and clinches up with Durell. Durell is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee calls for Bond to work.
Bond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durell misses with a hook. Bond slips under a jab from Durell. Durell misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Durell cracks Bond with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice shot lands for Durell. Bond fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dond Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bond takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Durell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jab by Durell. Bond darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Durell tries to kick Bond off but Bond keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bond works his foot free and advances to mount. Durell tries to buck Bond off but Bond takes his back! Durell trying to get back to his feet but Bond is in full control for now. Bond is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Durell avoids the strikes from Bond. Durell is trying to get back to his feet but Bond has full control of the position and if anything, Durell has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that's the end of the fight! Dond Bond showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bond has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
