The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson fails to land with a series of punches.
Thompson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thompson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guns moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Guns digs a good body shot into Thompson's ribs.
Guns showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thompson.
Thompson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Thompson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thompson slips a jab and a cross from Guns.
Guns staying out of range there.
Guns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Guns swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Guns counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Big Guns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Guns throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thompson wants to slow Guns down by chopping away at his legs.
Guns dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Guns misses with a series of wild punches.
Guns cracks Thompson with an open hand slap.

Thompson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Guns connects with a right hand. Thompson shakes it off.

Guns stalks Thompson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thompson's face. Thompson staggers backwards, shaken.

and Guns counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Thompson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Guns counters with a left and a right that stings Thompson.
Guns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thompson circles away quickly and effectively.
Thompson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A shot to the body from Thompson misses
and Guns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Christian Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guns fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Guns lands a slapping body shot.
Guns lands a left and a right that send Thompson crashing to the mat, dazed. Guns thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Thompson is rocked!
Guns misses with the combination.
Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Guns knocks Thompson out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
