Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jetti tegelaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjetil Paulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulsen misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - tegelaar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

tegelaar is trying to drag Paulsen to the mat but Paulsen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Paulsen drops back looking for a leg! tegelaar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and tegelaar manages to kick Paulsen off! Paulsen jumps back into tegelaar's guard.
tegelaar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Paulsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
tegelaar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paulsen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paulsen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Paulsen doesn't manage to clinch there - tegelaar circles away.
Paulsen tries to close the distance and clinch but tegelaar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Paulsen avoids the head kick by tegelaar.

Paulsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Paulsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Paulsen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of tegelaar's face.
