Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincent Morrison could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mark Steiner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincent Morrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Steiner! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steiner drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steiner preventing the sweep. Morrison wants to stand but Steiner is controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steiner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Steiner trying to control but Morrison is working from the bottom. Morrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Steiner is standing up over Morrison. Morrison looks to escape but Steiner dives into side control.
Morrison tries to buck Steiner off but Steiner is having none of it. Morrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steiner on the ground. Steiner cracks Morrison with a big right hand but Morrison just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Steiner working the ground and pound. Steiner looks up at the clock and then as Morrison takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Steiner smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Steiner tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Steiner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steiner misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steiner tries for a kimura but Morrison is defending well. The strikes coming from Steiner are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Morrison is pushing Steiner's head away, looking to escape. Steiner manages to hold on to the position though. Steiner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morrison keeps working. Steiner tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Steiner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Morrison pushes Steiner away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Steiner gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morrison tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Steiner blocks a head kick by Morrison.
Vincent Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morrison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vincent Morrison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Steiner looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Morrison throws a sloppy head kick and Steiner moves out of range easily. Steiner blocks a head kick by Morrison.

Morrison fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steiner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Morrison keeps the fight on the outside. Steiner tries to clinch up. Morrison throws a nice looking combination but Steiner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Steiner tries to clinch up but Morrison circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Morrison. No joy for Steiner on that attempt. Steiner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morrison but Morrison pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steiner looks gassed! Steiner takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Morrison lands a big head kick that sends Steiner tumbling to the mat! Morrison takes a step backwards and waves Steiner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Mark Steiner has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morrison circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Steiner drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Morrison follows Steiner to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Morrison!
