Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dameko Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dameko Brewer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dameko Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Fred Kruger! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brewer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kruger as he jumps to the side. Brewer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brewer slaps away a takedown attempt from Kruger, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brewer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brewer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brewer wants it to stay on the feet. Brewer connects with a single shot there. Brewer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kruger counters with a shoot takedown. Brewer fights it but they end up in guard. Kruger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kruger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kruger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kruger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brewer, up you get! Brewer loads up on a big right hand but Kruger slips the punch. Brewer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kruger.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for Brewer. Some bone on bone action there as Brewer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Dameko Brewer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brewer with a poor takedown and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dameko Brewer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brewer wants to get back to his feet but Kruger is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brewer keeping moving, preventing Kruger from controlling successfully. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kruger pushes down on Brewer's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kruger decides to stand up. Brewer misses the shot to the body. Brewer with a lazy takedown attempt and Kruger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brewer's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brewer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Brewer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Brewer throws a sloppy head kick and Kruger counters with a thumping low kick. Kruger fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brewer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kruger has time to react. Kruger circles away from the clinch attempt and Kruger counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Brewer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Brewer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brewer stuns Kruger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Brewer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kruger takes one on the button. Brewer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Good exchange - Brewer coming out on top. Brewer shoots in for a double leg but Kruger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kruger slips a jab and a cross from Brewer.
Brewer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kruger throws a sloppy head kick and Brewer moves out of range easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brewer wants to clinch and Kruger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kruger. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brewer wants to stand up but Kruger is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Kruger dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Brewer fails with the takedown and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brewer won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brewer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kruger thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brewer tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kruger blocks Brewer's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Kruger jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brewer manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewer wants to get back to his feet. Brewer can't do much from the bottom here. Kruger tries for a kimura but Brewer is defending well. Brewer is trying to get back to his feet. Brewer tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kruger prevents Brewer from getting the reversal. Brewer is trying to stand up. Brewer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brewer tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kruger scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Brewer?
Brewer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kruger on the ground. Kruger fails to advance to Brewer's back. Brewer is desperately trying to improve his position but Kruger has a good base and remains in mount. Brewer is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kruger prevents Brewer from getting the reversal. Brewer in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Brewer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fred Kruger has got the better of the ground game so far. Kruger has hold of Brewer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brewer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kruger is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Brewer is forced to tap! Great finish!
