Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Head Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolf Ha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ha rushes Hunter and presses him up against the cage.

Ha jumps into guard, dragging Hunter to the mat.

Ha has his feet on Hunter's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Ha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ha off to one side.

and Ha counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Head Hunter has been cut.
Hunter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ha counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ha gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hunter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Head Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ha has picked Hunter up - he's going for a ride! Ha dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ha tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Hunter tries to roll over but Ha keeps him under control.

Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ha tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Hunter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ha's guard now.

Hunter is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ha is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ha wants to stand and escape but Hunter is having none of it.

Ha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hunter controls the pace.
Hunter wants to control from the top but Ha keeps moving.

so Hunter counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Ha is working an open guard so Hunter takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hunter slips a jab and a cross from Ha.

Ha tries to keep at a distance but Hunter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ha tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hunter drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hunter throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ha tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hunter just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hunter fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hunter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hunter lands an uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Hunter.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hunter manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Ha.

Hunter clinches with his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Head Hunter will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Head Hunter's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hunter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ha to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ha wants to stand but Hunter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hunter is controlling Ha's posture.

Hunter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ha is trying to land a reversal but Hunter doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Hunter is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Ha! Ha trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Hunter!
