Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amou Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mike Diaz enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amou Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Diaz! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and .
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diaz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Duran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Diaz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duran avoids it really well and circles away.
Diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Duran was covering up waiting for the punch and Diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard. Diaz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Duran's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duran working a defensive guard here.
Diaz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Diaz prevents Duran from getting back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz stopping the sweep attempt from Duran. Duran preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Duran pulls Diaz in close to his closed guard and prevents Diaz from doing any damage or advancing position. Duran trying to keep a closed guard but Diaz is proving a slippery customer.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz looks gassed!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Duran jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Duran throws a front kick aimed at Diaz's knee but Diaz avoids it well. Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duran is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Duran circles away and we're back to standing. Amou Duran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Diaz. Duran throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head. Diaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Duran.
Diaz takes one on the button. Duran waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Diaz. Duran bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Diaz's head. A left and a right from Duran both land. Nice combination. Diaz drops his hands momentarily and Duran takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Duran lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Duran cracks Diaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A punch combination from Duran misses. Duran is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Diaz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Duran.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Duran looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.
Diaz clinches up with Duran and pushes him back against the cage. Duran is trying to break the clinch but Diaz is controlling him. Duran looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Duran swings wildly with an uppercut but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it. Diaz is stalling here.
Duran fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Diaz has picked Duran up - he's going for a ride! Diaz dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Diaz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Duran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diaz. Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duran keeps working.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Duran tries to kick Diaz off but Diaz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Duran wants to control but Diaz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Duran keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Duran is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Amou Duran dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diaz dodges the punch combination from Duran.
Diaz gets the takedown into side control. Duran is not content to let Diaz control the position. Duran is looking for a sweep.
Diaz tries for a kimura but Duran is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz wants to control but Duran is keeping him busy. Duran is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Diaz asserts his dominance and retains side control. Duran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. Duran wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Diaz tries to move to mount but Duran blocks the move with his legs.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A solid leg kick lands there for Diaz.
Duran throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease. Nice uppercut there from Duran. Duran throws a combination. Diaz tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Diaz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A right-left combo lands from Duran. Duran throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Amou Duran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duran lands with a nice combination. Diaz backs away looking to recover. Duran thuds his shin into the meat of Diaz's side. Duran lands with an uppercut that bounces Diaz off the cage and back into rage. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran misses with an uppercut. Diaz saw that one coming. Duran throws out a leg kick but Diaz moves out of range and Duran only half commits. Duran throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Duran napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Diaz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Duran, who protects the arm well. Diaz throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Diaz in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Duran is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
