The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rumble is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rumble pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Supernussenbam is keeping the position for now.
Supernussenbam wants to get back to his feet but Rumble is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rumble has eaten all the pies!
Rumble has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Supernussenbam is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kahn Supernussenbam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Rumble.
Rumble can't get the takedown.
Supernussenbam misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rumble.
Supernussenbam is pressed up against the cage. Rumble has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Supernussenbam down to the mat. Supernussenbam avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Supernussenbam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rumble is on top in guard.
Rumble decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Rumble drops down looking for an ankle pick but Supernussenbam pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Rumble decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Supernussenbam's guard.
Rumble has gone for a leg lock! Supernussenbam slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rumble's guard.
Supernussenbam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rumble is looking for a triangle but Supernussenbam pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Rumble working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Supernussenbam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Supernussenbam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rumble has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Supernussenbam doesn't defend quickly enough and Rumble has managed to lock this one up! Can Supernussenbam escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rumble on a fantastic submission victory.
