Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Albuquerque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikita Litvinkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albuquerque comes to the cage accompanied by CONQUISTANDO O IMPOSSIVEL. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Albuquerque!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nikita Litvinkov!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Litvinkov closes the distance and clinches.
Litvinkov controlling the action here for a moment.
Litvinkov with a knee to the head.
Litvinkov with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Arthur Albuquerque has been cut.
Litvinkov connects with a nasty looking knee right to Albuquerque's face.


Albuquerque is rocked!

Litvinkov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Albuquerque is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Litvinkov has Albuquerque up against the cage in a clinch.
Litvinkov's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Albuquerque seems to have got his legs back now.
Litvinkov continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Litvinkov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Litvinkov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Albuquerque misses with a leg kick.

Albuquerque goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nikita Litvinkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Litvinkov throws a hook to the side of Albuquerque's head but Albuquerque sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Albuquerque tries to keep at a distance but Litvinkov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Litvinkov slows down the pace here.

Litvinkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Albuquerque changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Litvinkov tries to avoid it but Albuquerque manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Litvinkov to the ground. Litvinkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Litvinkov misses with a head kick.
Litvinkov tries to clinch up but Albuquerque circles away and keeps his distance.
Nikita Litvinkov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Litvinkov tries to close the distance and clinch but Albuquerque swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Albuquerque scores a takedown into full mount!
Albuquerque can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Litvinkov is looking to escape.

Albuquerque working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Albuquerque tries to control but Litvinkov wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Litvinkov squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Albuquerque trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Litvinkov is trying to stand.
Litvinkov looks gassed!
Albuquerque can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Litvinkov is looking to escape.

Albuquerque has hold of Litvinkov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Litvinkov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Litvinkov wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Albuquerque tries to control but Litvinkov wriggling away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Litvinkov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Albuquerque tries to keep control of the position but Litvinkov is staying busy.
Litvinkov looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Albuquerque working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Litvinkov is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Albuquerque has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Litvinkov taps out!
