Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and the dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from dude.
dude gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gracie wants to control from the top but dude keeps moving.
dude looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
dude wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gracie is now in half guard.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but dude does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

dude drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
dude shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but dude finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
