Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Budawalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padilla comes to the cage accompanied by crank that. The crowd seem to be enjoying Budawalski's choice of entrance music: Terminator Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marius Budawalski!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budawalski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Padilla throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Padilla throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Padilla keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Budawalski.
Marius Budawalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Budawalski takes a kick to the side of the head.
Budawalski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Padilla thows a body shot but no joy.
Budawalski moves in looking to clinch but Padilla pushes him off.
Budawalski throws a hook to the side of Padilla's head but Padilla sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Budawalski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Padilla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Padilla lands with an uppercut that bounces Budawalski off the cage and back into rage.

Padilla clobbers Budawalski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Budawalski tries to clinch but Padilla is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Budawalski goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Padilla has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Budawalski but great work by Padilla.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Padilla stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Padilla wants it to stay on the feet.
Padilla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Budawalski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Padilla.
Padilla misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Budawalski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Padilla walks away with a smile on his face. Budawalski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Padilla stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Budawalski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Padilla moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Budawalski cracks Padilla with a right hand to the side of the head.
Padilla throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Budawalski on the side of the head.
Nice defenses there by Padilla.
Padilla fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Budawalski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
