Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juhani Aro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sal Trupa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sal Trupa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trupa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aro controls the pace.
Trupa isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Aro stacks Trupa on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Aro!
Aro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trupa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aro defends it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aro is working Trupa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Trupa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aro defends well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Trupa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Aro is looking for a sweep. Trupa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trupa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Aro defends it well.
