Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edvard Homstad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahlam Zahlam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homstad comes to the cage accompanied by Sea of Fate - Rhapsody of Fire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zahlam misses with a wild body shot.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Homstad - that will leave a mark!
Zahlam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Homstad swivels and escapes.
A head kick misses from Zahlam.
Homstad really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zahlam shoots for a double leg takedown but Homstad sprawls well. He's pushed Zahlam's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zahlam is trying hard to land a takedown here. Homstad sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Edvard Homstad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ahlam Zahlam.
Homstad fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zahlam sprawls well initially but Homstad persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zahlam is staying active underneath Homstad, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Zahlam is trying to stand back up but Homstad is controlling him
Homstad tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Zahlam.
Zahlam is looking for a sweep. Homstad is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zahlam is looking to control Homstad's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zahlam avoid being mounted?

Zahlam makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Zahlam drives through with a takedown into guard.
Zahlam wants to pass the guard but Homstad is keeping the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zahlam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Zahlam slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Zahlam is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Homstad will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
