Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Galvao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andre Galvao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy S! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galvao scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Galvao throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Galvao punching from mount but S doing a good job of avoiding damage. Galvao avoids the attempt from S to control. Galvao tries to control but S wriggling away. S wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Galvao.
Galvao could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Galvao trying to control but he's not successful this time. Galvao is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But S has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from S! Galvao postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. S controls Galvao momentarily but Galvao frees himself. S wants to sweep here but Galvao controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Galvao trying to control but S is working from the bottom. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Galvao shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Galvao thowing shots but they're missing. Galvao controlling from the full mount. S tries to hold on but Galvao postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Galvao misses with a head shot. S tries to lock up and control but Galvao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. S can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. S is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. S is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Galvao goes for an armbar but S turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from S. S gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Galvao shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Galvao dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
S looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. S tries to stand but can't do so whilst Galvao controls his leg. Galvao trying to control here.
S is looking for a kimura but Galvao is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for S to get the leverage. Galvao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. S is working away from the top position though. Galvao gets back to full guard.
Galvao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. S doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Galvao is tightening it up a little... S has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! S reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! S taps out! nice BJJ there by Galvao!
