Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syezd Kepe Eses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Syezd Kepe Eses will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rua walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kepe Eses checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kepe Eses tries to bum rush Rua with a series of wild strikes but Rua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Syezd Kepe Eses is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Kepe Eses counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rua doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kepe Eses counters with a nice body shot.

Rua tries to land a leg kick but Kepe Eses saw it coming and moves away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rua changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kepe Eses looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rua is looking to advance position but Kepe Eses won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rua throwing shots but Kepe Eses is blocking nicely.
Kepe Eses is staying active underneath Rua, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rua thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kepe Eses makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kepe Eses.
Rua throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kepe Eses works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rua sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kepe Eses's guard.
Kepe Eses won't allow Rua to pass to mount.
Kepe Eses is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, if Rua is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That was a close second round but I would say that Royce Rua will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rua is working for takedown but Kepe Eses is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rua has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kepe Eses avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kepe Eses lands a right hand.
Kepe Eses is pressed up against the cage. Rua has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kepe Eses down to the mat. Kepe Eses avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Syezd Kepe Eses comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
