The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Parks dodges the ground and pound from Gracie.
Gracie landing strikes.
Gracie throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Parks can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Parks tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Parks is trying to get back to half guard.
Parks manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Gracie is doing well to control the position and prevent Parks from advancing to side control.
Parks wants to stand up but Gracie has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Parks is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Parks takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parks defends it easily.

Parks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie is trying to keep Parks in close.

Parks is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Parks from controlling successfully.
Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Parks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Parks advances to half guard.
Parks moves into full mount! Gracie won't be happy about that!
Parks scoring with strikes but Gracie is staying in there.
Gracie tries to hold on but Parks postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roycio Gracie dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Parks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Parks works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
Parks is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gracie will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gracie throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Parks escapes and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gracie is trying to control Parks's posture but Parks avoids it.
Parks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Parks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Gracie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parks. Oh but Gracie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parks goes limp - he's gone! Gracie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
