0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antanas Kazlau! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazlau slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.

Kazlau loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kazlau pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now. Kazlau has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kazlau stands up from guard. Let's bang! That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sanchez's guard. Kazlau is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kazlau scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kazlau passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sanchez! Kazlau with shots to the head and body - Sanchez looks very uncomfortable down there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kazlau putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Kazlau lands with some strikes. Sanchez gets back to half guard. Kazlau escapes and gets back to his feet. Sanchez throws a right hand that Kazlau ducks under and follows up with a left that Kazlau also avoids with ease. Sanchez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kazlau backs up against the cage.

Edgar Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez leaves Kazlau with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kazlau looks gassed! Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss. Kazlau misses the shot to the body. Sanchez throws a right and a left that Kazlau avoids nicely. Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.

Kazlau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanchez as he jumps to the side. Sanchez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez throws a leg kick but Kazlau sees it coming and moves out of range. Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kazlau, pushing him back against the cage. Sanchez prevents a takedown attempt there.

Antanas Kazlau dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kazlau lands a heavy elbow. Kazlau throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sanchez because Kazlau loaded up on that one. Kazlau working the ground and pound effectively.

A nice elbow there by Kazlau. Sanchez throwing hammer fists to the chest of Kazlau. What's that going to do exactly? Sanchez is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazlau landing strikes from the mount. Sanchez is in a horrible position here. Kazlau smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sanchez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sanchez regains half guard. Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Kazlau is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is pressing down on Kazlau's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kazlau is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanchez has wrist control. Sanchez wants to stand up but Kazlau is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antanas Kazlau showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Kazlau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez tries to bum rush Kazlau with a series of wild strikes but Kazlau uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kazlau with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kazlau just misses with a punch to the body.
Kazlau shoots in and bounces Sanchez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kazlau postures up in Sanchez's guard and throws a big left but Sanchez blocks it. Sanchez is looking to sweep but instead, Kazlau has passed into half guard.
Kazlau escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazlau shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kazlau takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kazlau missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kazlau wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position. Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazlau slips a nice elbow through Sanchez's hands, connecting with Sanchez's forehead. Sanchez has one foot on Kazlau's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sanchez tried to score with a low kick but Kazlau checks it. A nice inside leg kick there by Sanchez. That's going to slow Kazlau down. Kazlau shoots and misses and Sanchez makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Sanchez throws a series of punches but Kazlau avoids them all with ease. Danga de danga de dang - Sanchez scores with a four punch combination! Sanchez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Some wild striking there from Sanchez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sanchez misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kazlau feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sanchez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kazlau! Sanchez scoring with strikes but Kazlau is staying in there. Sanchez landing strikes, looking to finish! Sanchez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Edgar Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Antanas Kazlau is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kazlau is looking to improve his position but Sanchez isn't that keen on the idea.
