Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Efrain Santiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damien Stones!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stones was well out of range. Poor timing from Santiago.

Stones throws a good cross that connects.
Santiago lands with a straight right. Stones didn't see that one coming.
Santiago throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Santiago connects with a right hand. Stones shakes it off.

Santiago lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The fighters circle momentarily. Santiago darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Santiago cracks Stones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Santiago fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Santiago throws a jab when Stones was well out of range.
Santiago dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Efrain Santiago dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stones takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Santiago throws a big shot that misses.

Stones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Santiago is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stones can do to turn this around?

Santiago is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stones has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
