Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colt Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoeSon Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes into the arena with Slaughterhouse-Microphone blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colt Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JoeSon Do!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot.
Harris scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Do scores with a body shot.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Do sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.
Do shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Harris counters with a series of strikes. Do will be more careful next time no doubt.
Harris scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Harris lands a jab.
Do swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Harris scores with the left hand. Do knows he should have avoided that one.
Harris displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Do throws out the jab.
Do throws a chopping leg kick but Harris manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Do misses with a jab to the body
and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
Harris cracks Do with a right hand to the side of the head.
Harris is looking to clinch.

Do shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Do was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris is squirming around, avoiding Do's attempts to control the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Harris is looking to get to half guard.
Do controlling the pace for now.
Harris wants to hold on but Do pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Do wants to take Harris's back here but Harris is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Do trying to control but Harris is having none of it.
Harris is wriggling around trying to escape.
Do wants to control the pace but Harris is squirming around nicely.
Do avoids the attempt from Harris to control.
Do controlling his opponent.

Do's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Harris is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Harris wants to control but Do is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris is squirming around, avoiding Do's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Do controlling from mount.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Despite being in the dominant position, JoeSon Do just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Do clinches up with Harris and pushes him back against the cage.
Do will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Harris up against the cage.

Do pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JoeSon Do dominated that round.
That's time! Harris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Do misses with a body punch
and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Harris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Do, pushing him back against the cage.
Do is working Harris over against the cage.
Do stalling the fight.
Harris blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Do tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A nice left hand lands by Do.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Do misses with a punch on the inside.
Do lands a nice uppercut.
Do gets underhooks to prevent Harris's takedown attempt.

Do misses with a body punch.
Do scores with a shoulder strike.
Harris blocking some punches.
Harris being controlled against the cage.

Do's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harris is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Harris tries to bum rush Do with a series of wild strikes but Do uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Do throws a nice looking combination but Harris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Do takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Do swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Harris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Do walks into a jab.
Do on the wrong end of a nice jab.
JoeSon Do seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Do with a poor takedown
and Harris counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Harris moves in looking to clinch but Do pushes him off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harris.
Colt Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Do walks into a jab.
Do is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Harris rather than just go for the knockout.
Do misses with a wild body shot.
Harris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Do swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.
Do lands a right hook to the body.
Harris connects with a jab.
A punch combination from Harris misses.
Do with a lazy takedown attempt

and Harris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Do is breathing heavily.
Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Do is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Harris forces his way into half guard.
Harris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Harris is thwarting Do's attempts to control the position.

Harris is looking for a kimura here.
Do trying to hold on to Harris's head to control him but Harris postures up.
Harris is looking to take a break and control but Do is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Do is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Do trying to control but Harris postures up.
Harris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Do keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Harris avoids the body shot from Do.
Do takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Do misses with a body shot.
Danga de danga de dang - Harris scores with a four punch combination!
Do swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Harris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Do swings for the body but Harris moves out of range.
Nice jab there from Harris.
Harris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colt Harris dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Do looks to land a left hand but Harris moved out of range nicely.
Do doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Harris counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Harris lunges at Do with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Do's hand.
Do fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harris.
Do just misses with a punch to the body.
Harris moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Harris lands a nice shot that snaps Do's head back.
Do misses with a leg kick
and Harris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Harris catches Do with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Do throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.

Do takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Harris fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Do on the side of the head.

Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet.
Colt Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JoeSon Do.

Donk. Harris catches Do right on the button with a cross.

Do takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Do misses with a low kick as Harris jumps back.
Harris scores with the left hand. Do knows he should have avoided that one.
Do takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Harris connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Do's hands.
Harris scores with a decent looking hook.
Donk. Harris catches Do right on the button with a cross.

Harris misses with the combination.
Harris moves into range and connects with a jab.
Do takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Do wants to land a leg kick but Harris is out of range.
Do misses with a takedown
and Harris counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris connects with a jab.
Harris cracks Do with a good jab.
Harris is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Do takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Harris moves out of range as Do throws a body kick.
Harris connects with the punch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Harris connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Harris avoids the body shot from Do.
Harris is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Do throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harris lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Do backs up against the cage.

Harris closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Harris tries for a kimura but Do is defending well.
Harris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Do keeps working.
Do gets back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Do controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Colt Harris showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
