Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zarius Matzischin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Manowar - Gods Of War. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matzischin throws out a leg kick but Fredriksson moves out of range and Matzischin only half commits.
Fredriksson shoots in for a double leg but Matzischin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fredriksson takes a swing at Matzischin's ribcage but misses.
Fredriksson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fredriksson is looking to advance position but Matzischin won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fredriksson uses his free foot to push down on Matzischin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Matzischin.

Matzischin is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fredriksson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fredriksson throwing strikes here but Matzischin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Matzischin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fredriksson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fredriksson prevents Matzischin from getting the reversal.

Fredriksson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fredriksson extends the arm and Matzischin is forced to tap!
