Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babli Al Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Babli Al Hassan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Lee! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Al Hassan dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Lee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Al Hassan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lee fails in his attempt to clinch. Al Hassan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Al Hassan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Al Hassan circles away. Babli Al Hassan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Lee. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lee is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. Al Hassan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with. Lee tries to lock up and control but Al Hassan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Al Hassan controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee is trying desperately to improve position. Al Hassan controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to hold on but Al Hassan postures up. Al Hassan controlling his opponent. Lee is looking to get to half guard. Al Hassan controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Al Hassan avoids the attempt from Lee to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Al Hassan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee stands the fighters back up. Babli Al Hassan just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lee shoots and misses and Al Hassan moves into the clinch. Lee looks gassed! Good anti-grappling being displayed by Al Hassan as Lee tries to tie him up. Al Hassan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Al Hassan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Babli Al Hassan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lee darts in trying to clinch and Al Hassan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mike Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Al Hassan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lee controls Al Hassan momentarily but Al Hassan frees himself. Lee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lee is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee thowing shots but they're missing. Al Hassan is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Al Hassan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lee punching from mount but Al Hassan doing a good job of avoiding damage. Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Al Hassan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Lee throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Lee wants to control the pace but Al Hassan is squirming around nicely. Lee won't let Al Hassan get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to control but Al Hassan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Al Hassan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Lee looking to finish with strikes here!
Lee has hold of Al Hassan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Al Hassan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
You get the feeling that Al Hassan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee dominating with strikes here. Lee punching from mount but Al Hassan doing a good job of avoiding damage. Lee looking to control but Al Hassan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Al Hassan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mike Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Al Hassan counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Al Hassan to acknowledge the strikes. Lee wants to clinch but Al Hassan slips to the side and Al Hassan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee! Lee wants to control but Al Hassan is having none of it. Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Al Hassan controlling the position easily from mount. Al Hassan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

And that's the end of the fight! Babli Al Hassan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Al Hassan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
