Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kap Hwan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kap Hwan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Davenport! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davenport tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee. Davenport trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
Davenport wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Davenport's head. Davenport looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Lee trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Davenport manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davenport is controlling him. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lee keeping moving, preventing Davenport from controlling successfully. Davenport prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Davenport trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Davenport defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to stall here but Davenport recovers full guard. Lee throws a strike but Davenport rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lee pulls Davenport in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lee wants to stand and escape but Davenport is having none of it. Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davenport can do anything to dispel that myth. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee thows a huge punch but Davenport dodges it nicely.
Lee prevents Davenport from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davenport gets the takedown into side control. Lee is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Davenport asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lee defending against the ground and pound. Davenport trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee is pushing Davenport's head away, looking to escape. Davenport manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davenport wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working. Lee managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Davenport.
Davenport wants to control for a moment but Lee uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Davenport taking some punishment here, with Lee in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is keen to just control but Davenport is a slippery customer. Davenport trying to hold on to Lee's head to control him but Lee postures up.
Lee winds up and cracks Davenport with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lee looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Lee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davenport is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Davenport is breathing heavily. Lee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lee thows a huge punch but Davenport dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee throwing shots but Davenport is blocking nicely. Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Davenport! Lee working Davenport over with strikes here. Lee with shots to the head and body - Davenport looks very uncomfortable down there. Lee throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kap Hwan Lee dominated that second round. That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Davenport has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Davenport's guard now. Lee throwing strikes from guard but Davenport blocks nicely. Davenport lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee! Lee sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is trying to stand up here but Davenport is controlling him well. Davenport takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Davenport missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Lee trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee kicks Davenport off and gets back to his feet. Lee doesn't succeed with the takedown and Davenport counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee! Davenport working away from the top, dropping strikes. Davenport tries to control but Lee wriggling away. Lee tries to hold on but Davenport pushes him away. Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davenport sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee really wants to buck Davenport off and get back to his feet. Kap Hwan Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Davenport controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee tries to buck Davenport off but he can't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lee blocking the ground and pound. Lee tries to buck Davenport off but he can't manage it. Davenport controlling from the full mount. Kap Hwan Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lee wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Davenport.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kap Hwan Lee. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
