The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Davenport tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily
and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Davenport's guard now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Davenport sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kap Hwan Lee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
