Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sher Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes to the cage accompanied by Tha King. Singh has chosen Game- Motorhead as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sher Singh enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thiago Alves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sher Singh! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Singh. Alves throws a head kick but Singh moves out of range.
Alves stuffs the takedown attempt from Singh. Singh gets slowly back to his feet. Singh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alves tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Singh keeps the fight on the outside. Singh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Singh is working for a submission of some sort.
Alves tries to get to full guard but Singh has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh trying to mount his opponent but Alves defends it. Singh is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Alves pushes Singh off looking to stand but Singh dives back in and keeps control.
Alves missing with punches from the bottom.
Singh thows a huge punch but Alves dodges it nicely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Singh misses with a takedown attempt - Alves sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Singh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alves sprawls well initially but Singh persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Singh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Singh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Singh looks to land a strike but Alves avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Alves tries to strike from the bottom.
Alves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Singh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Singh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Singh looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Alves looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Alves looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Alves! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Alves sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Singh is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Singh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Alves wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Alves stands up and we're back to a striking position. Alves fails to land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Alves wants to clinch up but Singh keeps it at a distance. Singh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Alves did well to prevent Singh getting side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alves gets full guard. Alves looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Alves is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Singh is aware though and is defending well. Singh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Alves dives on top into guard. Alves in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Singh has a closed guard, preventing Alves from standing up. Alves postures up in Singh's guard and throws a big left but Singh blocks it. Alves trying to stand up but can't free himself from Singh's guard. Singh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alves stacks Singh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alves! Singh tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sher Singh will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alves wants to clinch. Alves doesn't manage to clinch there - Singh circles away.
Alves wants to clinch up but Singh keeps it at a distance. Singh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alves scores with a three punch combo!
Singh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alves was covering up waiting for the punch and Singh finishes the takedown easily into guard. Alves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Singh defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh looking to sit in guard and control but Alves gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Singh working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Alves. Alves got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alves has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted. Alves postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Alves stopping the sweep attempt from Singh. Alves tries to stand but Singh is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Alves throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Alves is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Singh has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alves is looking to defend but Singh has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alves! Singh pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alves taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sher Singh!
