Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kung Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pretty Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Pretty Boy enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kung Lao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pretty Boy! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lao.
Lao misses with a series of wild punches.
Boy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice defenses there by Boy. Boy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Boy throws an elbow but Lao slips to the side and avoids it well. Boy is looking to take a break and control but Lao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lao managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Boy.
Boy lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Lao tries to buck Boy off but Boy is having none of it. Boy works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lao gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lao works his way to full guard. Good work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lao is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lao tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Boy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lao is trying to defend but Boy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Boy missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lao regains full guard. Nicely done. Lao lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boy! Boy wants to hold on but Lao pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boy can do anything to dispel that myth. Boy is desperately trying to improve his position but Lao has a good base and remains in mount. Boy throwing hammer fists to the chest of Lao. What's that going to do exactly? Lao tries to control but Boy wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pretty Boy dominated that round. That's time! Lao's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lao works the jab nicely. Lao lands with a straight right. Boy didn't see that one coming. Boy takes one to the chin there. Lao scores with a hook. Donk. Lao catches Boy right on the button with a cross. Lao lands a jab-cross combination. Lao is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Boy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Boy takes a swing at Lao's ribcage but misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Boy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lao to the mat! Lao manages to get full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lao is on top in guard.
Boy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Boy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lao passes into side control.
Boy is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy is not content to let Lao control the position. Boy is looking to regain half guard here but Lao keeps moving and retains side control. Lao in side control, just content to control the action for now. Lao has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. You can see the frustration on Boy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lao in side control, just content to control the action for now. Lao is looking to take a break and control but Boy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lao controls the position. Lao trying to control the position but Boy is working away. Boy trying to control but Lao flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boy manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lao's guard. Nice work there by Boy.
Lao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boy won't allow Lao to sweep him here. Boy wants to control from the top but Lao keeps moving. Lao keeping full guard, as Boy tries to pass. Boy scoring with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kung Lao dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Boy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lao lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Boy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lao to score with a decent uppercut. Boy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Some wild striking there from Lao.
Boy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lao as he jumps to the side. Pretty Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boy shoots in but Lao avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kung Lao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pretty Boy. Boy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lao scores with the left hand. Boy knows he should have avoided that one. Boy on the wrong end of a nice jab. Lao lands a right hook to the body.
Lao scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Kung Lao is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lao scores with a jab to the jaw. Boy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lao throws a right and a left that both miss. A bone on bone clash there as Boy blocks the leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boy stopping the sweep attempt from Lao. Boy scoring with some ground and pound. Lao preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boy postures up in Lao's guard and throws a big left but Lao blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Boy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lao looking for a sweep. Not yet Lao, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boy. Lao changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lao throws a good cross that connects.
Danga de danga de dang - Lao scores with a four punch combination! Boy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Boy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Boy takes one to the chin there. Boy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lao tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lao to the ground. Lao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No joy there for Lao, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Lao. Lao works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Boy takes one on the button. Lao throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily. Boy slips under a jab. Boy has Lao up against the cage in a clinch.

Lao trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom. Lao trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Boy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Boy trying to strike off his back.
Boy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boy striking off his back but it's not causing Lao any problems.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lao is looking to chop away at Boy's legs. Lao misses with a low kick.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kung Lao. I think Lao has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
