PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robertson Zilvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jescan Luis Canuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zilvia comes into the arena with Snow ( Hey oh ) blaring out of the sound system. Canuto is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Holy Wars. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canuto leaves Zilvia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zilvia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Canuto pinned against the cage. Canuto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Canuto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zilvia paws at him with a jab and circles away.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zilvia just misses with a elbow thrown towards Canuto's brow.

Zilvia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Canuto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zilvia decides to stand up, so the ref orders Canuto to his feet.

Zilvia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Canuto's guard.

Canuto is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zilvia is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zilvia has escaped and now he's on top!

Canuto parries the strikes from Zilvia easily there. Zilvia is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Canuto to escape.

Zilvia has an Americana. Canuto didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zilvia is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zilvia hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
