Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Courchesne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Rosenzweig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosenzweig has chosen Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You as his entrance music. Jonathan Courchesne had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Courchesne.
Rosenzweig walks into a stiff left hand from Courchesne.
Courchesne misses with a double jab.
Courchesne throws and low kick but Rosenzweig moves out of range easily.
Rosenzweig lands a jab to the nose.
Courchesne misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rosenzweig sizes up Courchesne with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No joy there for Courchesne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rosenzweig lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rosenzweig has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Courchesne wants to control but Rosenzweig is having none of it.
Rosenzweig has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Courchesne's face.
Rosenzweig wants to control the pace but Courchesne is squirming around nicely.

Rosenzweig goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Courchesne turns into him and now he's in Rosenzweig's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rosenzweig bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Courchesne's guard.
Courchesne utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Rosenzweig moves forwards but Courchesne connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rosenzweig, right into the meat.

Oh Courchesne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Courchesne bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Rosenzweig comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Courchesne falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Courchesne was out before he hit the floor!
