Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Pellegrino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Pellegrino is trying to escape the mount.

Stark looking for a guillotine from mount but Pellegrino is having none of it.
Pellegrino tries to hold on but Stark pushes him away.
Pellegrino is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stark cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Kurt Pellegrino has been cut.

Stark with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pellegrino is desperately trying to improve his position but Stark has a good base and remains in mount.

Pellegrino manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stark's guard. Nice work there by Pellegrino.

Stark has his foot on Pellegrino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pellegrino works his way back into a safe position though.
Pellegrino sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stark's guard.
Pellegrino thows a huge punch but Stark dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pellegrino looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pellegrino wants to stand up but Stark is controlling him.
Stark distracts Pellegrino with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Stark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Stark counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pellegrino's guard now.
Pellegrino tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stark drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pellegrino dives on top into guard.

Stark is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pellegrino defends well.
Pellegrino passes Stark's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pellegrino is keen to just control but Stark is a slippery customer.
Pellegrino stalling away here and it's allowed Stark to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Stark throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pellegrino uses it to pass to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pellegrino tries to move into full mount but can't pass Stark's legs.

Pellegrino jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stark is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stark and Pellegrino has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Pellegrino is trying to move to mount but Stark reverses beautifully and ends up in Pellegrino's guard.
Stark has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Pellegrino wriggles free and stands up.

Stark closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pellegrino moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stark thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
