Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between zak alm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz has chosen ameno as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
alm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ortiz was covering up waiting for the punch and alm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
alm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortiz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

alm wants to control from the top but Ortiz keeps moving.
