Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alves Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius Zandonadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alves Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Zandonadi! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zandonadi fails in his attempt to clinch. Zandonadi shoots in and drives through. Wallace sprawls well. Wallace moves into the clinch. Wallace jumps into guard, dragging Zandonadi to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zandonadi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zandonadi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zandonadi tries to free his leg and advance position but Wallace is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wallace is on top in guard.
Zandonadi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zandonadi controls Wallace momentarily but Wallace frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zandonadi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wallace is aware though and is defending well. Zandonadi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wallace is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zandonadi. Zandonadi seems a little lost for a moment, as Wallace dominates the positioning. Zandonadi looks gassed! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zandonadi is looking to reverse the position. Wallace working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Wallace politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wallace prefers to stall for the moment though. Zandonadi tries to improve position but can't. Wallace landing a few strikes. Wallace is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Zandonadi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wallace wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wallace is working Zandonadi over with some ground and pound from side control. Wallace is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Zandonadi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wallace landing strikes. Zandonadi looks to move to half guard but instead Wallace has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace working for a guillotine from mount but Zandonadi is in no mood to give up. Wallace jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zandonadi manages to avoid the submission attempt. Zandonadi is pushing Wallace's head away, looking to escape. Wallace manages to hold on to the position though. Check out the look on Wallace's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Wallace works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wallace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zandonadi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace controls the position. Wallace cracks Zandonadi with a big elbow. Wallace connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Zandonadi some visible discomfort.
You can see the frustration on Zandonadi's face as Wallace controls the position. Wallace has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wallace advances to full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alves Wallace dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wallace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace showed some decent athleticism there. Wallace is thwarting Zandonadi's attempts to control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wallace connects with a nice short shot to Zandonadi's temple. Wallace wants to control but Zandonadi is keeping him busy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zandonadi taking some punishment here, with Wallace in his half guard. Wallace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wallace lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zandonadi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Wallace. Wallace landing shots from mount. Wallace has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zandonadi's face.
Wallace controlling the pace for now. Zandonadi wants to control but Wallace is having none of it. Wallace is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Zandonadi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Zandonadi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wallace anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Zandonadi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wallace slips an arm under Zandonadi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wallace has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wallace is squeezing on Zandonadi like an anaconda would it's prey. Zandonadi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alves Wallace!
