1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eugene Alejandro Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruben Santana! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana fails with an attempt to clinch.
Santana tries to clinch there but Alejandro Mac circles away.

A head kick misses from Alejandro Mac. Santana shoots in and drives through. Alejandro Mac sprawls well. A nice leg kick lands there from Alejandro Mac. Ruben Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alejandro Mac moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Santana scores with a body shot.

Santana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alejandro Mac paws at him with a jab and circles away. Santana shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alejandro Mac defends it nicely. Santana misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santana throws a sloppy head kick and Alejandro Mac counters with a nice leg kick. Santana misses the shot to the body. Santana swings for the body but Alejandro Mac moves out of range.

Alejandro Mac rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santana moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Santana clinches but Alejandro Mac breaks the clinch and Alejandro Mac counters with a good low kick that Santana was not able to check. Santana wants to clinch but Alejandro Mac slips to the side and Alejandro Mac makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Santana really felt that one! Santana throws a leg kick and Alejandro Mac counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Santana misses with a takedown attempt - Alejandro Mac sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santana is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Santana is looking for a kimura but Alejandro Mac is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Santana to get the leverage. Santana is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Santana is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Alejandro Mac defends it well. Santana prevents Alejandro Mac from standing back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Santana looks for a takedown but Alejandro Mac sprawls well.

Santana shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alejandro Mac is trying to defend but Santana finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Alejandro Mac is not content to let Santana control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santana is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Santana wants to stand up but Alejandro Mac has a hold of him and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alejandro Mac has one foot on Santana's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Eugene Alejandro Mac will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eugene Alejandro Mac's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Santana is lucky that one didn't land flush. Santana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alejandro Mac looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Alejandro Mac is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Santana is controlling him well. Santana working the ground and pound from side control. Santana wants to control but Alejandro Mac is keeping him busy. Santana wants to take a breather but Alejandro Mac manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Santana.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana trying to control the position from guard on top but Alejandro Mac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alejandro Mac is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Alejandro Mac utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Santana stands up from Alejandro Mac's guard - Santana perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Santana closes the distance looking to clinch and Alejandro Mac counters with a big head kick but Santana shrugs it off. Santana throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alejandro Mac counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Alejandro Mac swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Santana counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Santana is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santana wants to control from the top but Alejandro Mac keeps moving. Santana tries to free his leg and advance position but Alejandro Mac is retaining full guard. Santana is looking to work some ground and pound but Alejandro Mac has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Santana stops Alejandro Mac from standing up. Santana trying to control but Alejandro Mac is working from the bottom. Santana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alejandro Mac swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Santana misses with a combination
and Alejandro Mac counters with a good, hard body kick but Santana shrugs it off.
And that's the end of the fight! Ruben Santana comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Alejandro Mac has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
