Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazaki Fujita! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariusz Pudzianowski! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudzianowski shoots in and drives through. Fujita sprawls well. Fujita drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fujita content to stall in guard here. Pudzianowski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fujita pushing down on Pudzianowski's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fujita lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Pudzianowski has hold of Fujita's hands but Fujita slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fujita controlling the action here. Fujita lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pudzianowski wants to get back to full guard but Fujita has mounted him! Fujita content just to control the position here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fujita looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujita tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fujita won't let Pudzianowski get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Fujita looking for a guillotine from mount but Pudzianowski is having none of it. Fujita controlling from mount. Pudzianowski is in a horrible position here. Fujita smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut. Fujita lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Fujita.
The cut above Mariusz Pudzianowski's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Pudzianowski is bucking up trying to escape but Fujita cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kazaki Fujita!
