Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Finnegan Brewzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damarcus DeVonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewzer comes into the arena with The Way I Feel blaring out of the sound system. DeVonte has chosen Dollars and Sense - DJ Quik as his entrance music. Damarcus DeVonte will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewzer shoots in looking for a takedown. DeVonte tries to sprawl out of it but Brewzer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeVonte manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brewzer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. DeVonte defends it nicely.
A clash of legs there as Brewzer blocks the low kick.
DeVonte scores with a jab to the jaw.
Brewzer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as DeVonte sprawls well. DeVonte wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brewzer gets slowly back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Brewzer throws an elbow but DeVonte slips to the side and avoids it well.
Brewzer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close second round but I would say that Finnegan Brewzer will probably get the nod.

Finnegan Brewzer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
DeVonte changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brewzer tries to avoid it but DeVonte manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brewzer to the ground. Brewzer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brewzer moves into range and clinches up with DeVonte.
Damarcus DeVonte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

DeVonte wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Brewzer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Brewzer is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brewzer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
