Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benjo Hadzija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hadzija comes into the arena with Bos ili Hadžija blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benjo Hadzija!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Rude!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude shoots in for a takedown but Hadzija shows good takedown defense.
Benjo Hadzija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hadzija thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hadzija looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rude gets a takedown into half guard.
Rude throws a strike but Hadzija avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Rude with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rude lands a couple of elbows.
Hadzija manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Rude changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hadzija tries to avoid it but Rude manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hadzija to the ground. Hadzija escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hadzija is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A jab lands there for Hadzija.
Rude closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hadzija to the mat! Hadzija manages to get full guard.
Rude working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hadzija uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hadzija lands with a hook. Rude tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hadzija misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hadzija tries to bum rush Rude with a series of wild strikes but Rude uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hadzija misses with a series of wild punches.
Hadzija throws a lazy right hand but Rude sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hadzija throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rude on the side of the head.
Rude takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Horrible takedown by Rude or perhaps it was just good defense by Hadzija which made him look bad.
Benjo Hadzija has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Rude.
Hadzija looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut lands for Hadzija. That snapped Rude's head back.
Hadzija lands a jab to the head.
Rude shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hadzija as he jumps to the side.
Danga de danga de dang - Hadzija scores with a four punch combination!
Hadzija's corner calls for a 1-2. Hadzija obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rude is looking to clinch but Hadzija is avoiding it.
Hadzija keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rude with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hadzija to score with a decent uppercut.
Hadzija is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hadzija lands a left and a right that send Rude crashing to the mat, dazed. Hadzija thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rude is rocked!
Rude looks gassed!
Hadzija shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Rude takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hadzija sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Rude bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Benjo Hadzija!
