Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Radamen Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Even Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by King Nothing. Steven has chosen Metallica-Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Even Steven has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Radamen Sanchez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Radamen Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Even Steven! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez swats away the attempt to clinch by Steven. Steven looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sanchez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sanchez wants it to stay on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Steven looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice takedown defense from Sanchez. No joy for Steven on that attempt. Radamen Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Even Steven. Steven is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sanchez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Steven's head. Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Steven wants to clinch up but Sanchez keeps it at a distance. Steven misses with a hook. Sanchez gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steven is trying to improve his position. Sanchez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sanchez decides to stand back up. Sanchez steps back and let's Steven get back to his feet. Steven fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanchez, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steven is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sanchez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Steven to the mat. Steven regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Steven keeps moving. Sanchez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sanchez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Steven to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sanchez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Steven pulls down on the head and he's put Sanchez to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Even Steven!
