The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crusher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oliveira fails to land the takedown.
Oliveira moves in looking to clinch but Crusher pushes him off.
Crusher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Crusher is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Crusher seems to be working for a kimura but Oliveira defends the submission attempt.
Crusher is looking for a kimura but Oliveira is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crusher to get the leverage.
Crusher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira is staying active underneath Crusher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Crusher thows a huge punch but Oliveira dodges it nicely.

Crusher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Crusher stands and throws Oliveira's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Crusher has hold of Oliveira's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Oliveira tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Crusher cranks the arm and Oliveira screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Oliveira, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
