Daigle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The State of Massachusetts -- Dropkick Murphys. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swanson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Daigle stuffs the takedown attempt from Swanson. Swanson gets slowly back to his feet.

Daigle closes the distance and clinches up with Swanson, looking for a takedown. Daigle pushes Swanson against the cage but Swanson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Daigle lands with a hook. Swanson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Daigle drops back looking for a leg! Swanson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Swanson manages to kick Daigle off! Daigle jumps back into Swanson's guard.

Daigle is sitting in close to Swanson's body. Swanson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Daigle is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Daigle is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Swanson.
