Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ducci Dante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nando Ferraz!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferraz lands a left and a right that send Dante crashing to the mat, dazed. Ferraz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dante is rocked!
It looks like Ducci Dante has been cut.
Dante is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ferraz's half guard.
Oh Dante is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferraz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dante's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dante's back!
Ferraz has good solid back control here.
Dante seems to have got his legs back now.
Ferraz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ferraz controlling well, preventing Dante from escaping the position.
Ferraz really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Dante.

Dante trying to get back to his feet but Ferraz is in full control for now.
Dante is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ferraz.
Despite being in the dominant position, Nando Ferraz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ferraz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dante looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ferraz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dante backs up against the cage.
Dante takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dante is breathing heavily.
A combination from Ferraz does no damage.
Ferraz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ducci Dante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dante shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ferraz is trying to defend but Dante finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ferraz is looking to improve his position.
Ferraz actively working from the bottom here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferraz is looking for a sweep. Dante is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Dante there.

Ferraz tries to roll over but Dante keeps him under control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ferraz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A right-left combo lands from Ferraz.
Dante walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dante shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ferraz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ferraz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ferraz throws a shot to the body.
Ferraz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ferraz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ferraz duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferraz drops Dante with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ferraz follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nando Ferraz!
