Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Hebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Areza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hebert comes into the arena with Lose Yourself blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hebert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hebert looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Areza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Areza has his foot on Hebert's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hebert works his way back into a safe position though.

Areza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hebert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Areza is tightening it up a little... Hebert has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hebert reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hebert taps out! nice BJJ there by Areza!
