Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Celso Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JimBob Johnsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu - Apaga mas não bate. Celso Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Celso Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JimBob Johnsson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Johnsson shows good takedown defense.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Johnsson wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnsson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Johnsson is defending well.

Johnsson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Johnsson controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnsson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

Johnsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Johnsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnsson has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Gracie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Johnsson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnsson defends it easily.

Despite being in the dominant position, JimBob Johnsson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnsson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie!

Johnsson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gracie because Johnsson loaded up on that one.
Johnsson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Gracie is squirming around, avoiding Johnsson's attempts to control the action.

Johnsson takes Gracie's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Gracie is in trouble.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gracie tries to escape but Johnsson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but JimBob Johnsson will probably get the nod.

and Gracie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Johnsson!
Gracie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Johnsson turns into him and now he's in Gracie's guard.
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Johnsson is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnsson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Johnsson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Johnsson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Johnsson works to advance to full mount. Gracie defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Gracie can't escape the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnsson works his way to his opponent's back.
Johnsson misses with a punch to the head.
Gracie tries to escape but Johnsson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Johnsson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Gracie has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Johnsson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Gracie taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Johnsson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). JimBob Johnsson!
