Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blaze wants to clinch up but Petrov keeps it at a distance.
Blaze throws a looping overhand right but Petrov ducks down to avoid it.
Blaze throws a series of punches but Petrov moves out of range.
Petrov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Blaze at a distance.
Blaze takes a swing at Petrov's ribcage but misses.
A combination from Blaze does no damage.
Blaze digs a good hook to Petrov's body.
Petrov keeps the fight on the outside.
Blaze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Petrov keeps control of Blaze as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Blaze ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrov moves away.

Blaze lands a jab-cross combination.
Blaze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Petrov was well out of range. Poor timing from Blaze.
Blaze walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Blaze is looking to wear down Petrov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Blaze tries to close the distance and clinch but Petrov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Simon Petrov has been cut.
Petrov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Petrov counters with a stiff right hand.

Blaze fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Petrov on the side of the head.
Blaze lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Blaze tries to clinch up but Petrov circles away and keeps his distance.

Blaze lands with a big left! Petrov is wobbled badly! Blaze comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Petrov to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
