Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morse Hores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Jones! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones wants to clinch up but Hores keeps it at a distance. Jones tries to clinch but Hores moves out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Hores. Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hores misses with a double jab.
Hores closes the distance and clinches. Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hores fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones tries to clinch but Hores is having none of it. Jones looks to clinch letting Hores counter with a right hand. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Hores swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Horrible takedown by Hores or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones lands a big head kick that sends Hores tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Hores back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hores is rocked!
It looks like Morse Hores has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hores will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hores throws a chopping leg kick but Jones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Hores swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones is looking to clinch but Hores is avoiding it.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hores swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hores paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones tries to clinch but Hores moves out of range. Hores connects with a looping right hand.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hores counters by clinching up. Jones misses with a knee to the head. Hores avoids a wild elbow strike from Jones. Jones comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jones landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Hores gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage. Jones slows down the pace here.
Jones misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hores.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones fails to pull guard.
Jones lands a nice elbow. Jones tries to stall but Hores uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hores is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Morse Hores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronny Jones. Hores is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Hores stops a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Hores's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hores has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hores.
Hores has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hores pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hores swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Jones tries to clinch and Hores counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jones looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to kick Hores off but Hores keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hores thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones pushes Hores off looking to stand but Hores dives back in and keeps control.
Hores throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hores's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hores's back! Hores needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Hores manages to escape to his feet. Hores throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones takes a swing at Hores's ribcage but misses. Hores avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Hores circles away.
Hores will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fighters circling - Hores throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hores throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Hores moves into the clinch. Hores wants to break the clinch but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Morse Hores dominated that round. The cut man is working on Morse Hores's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hores tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
A combination from Hores does no damage. Jones tries to clinch up but Hores circles away and keeps his distance. Jones wants to clinch and Hores connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hores throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jones counters with a head kick. Jones darts in trying to clinch and Hores counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hores. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hores looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hores swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to control but Hores is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hores holds on and takes a little breather. Hores is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hores has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones wants to stand but Hores has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hores wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hores just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones wants to clinch up but Hores keeps it at a distance. Jones wants to clinch and Hores counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Hores pushes him off. Hores shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jones controls Hores momentarily but Hores frees himself. Hores won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is controlling Hores's posture. Hores trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hores accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hores advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hores trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones wants to control but Hores postures up. Hores throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jones works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Jones is looking to improve his position.

Morse Hores dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Morse Hores's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Hores gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Morse Hores's cut is getting worse. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones misses with a head kick.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hores sprawls well. Hores wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Morse Hores is winning the standup battle so far. Hores throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. Jones wants to clinch but Hores slips to the side and Hores decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard. Hores passes into half guard. Jones is trying to stand up here but Hores is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is trying to maintain the position but Hores is very close to passing his half guard. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones regains full guard. Nicely done. Jones pulls Hores in close to prevent any damage. Hores connects with a couple of short punches. Hores throwing strikes but missing. Hores postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hores trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hores is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hores postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Hores stops Jones from standing up. Hores missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Morse Hores overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hores throws and elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hores's guard. Nice move by Jones!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control but Hores is working from the bottom. Hores tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hores controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Hores counters with a stiff right hand. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hores keeps the fight on the outside. Jones tries to clinch but Hores moves out of range. Jones clinches but Hores breaks the clinch and Hores connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Morse Hores is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hores lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jones clinches but Hores breaks the clinch and Hores counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt. Jones darts in trying to clinch and Hores counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.
And that's the end of the fight! Morse Hores showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hores has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
