Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots for a takedown but Beam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Beam counters with a good, hard body kick but Jones shrugs it off.
Beam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Beam shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beam showed some decent athleticism there.

Beam is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Beam.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Beam has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.

Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beam is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beam has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jones cracks Beam with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Beam is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Beam and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jones is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Beam defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

James Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
