Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quinten Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dave hashim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Quinten Duncan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinten Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, dave hashim! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! hashim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Duncan is breathing heavily. hashim pushes Duncan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Duncan wants to get back to striking at distance but hashim won't allow it.
hashim gets control of Duncan's arms and successfully pulls guard. hashim will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Duncan postures up in hashim's guard and throws a big left but hashim blocks it. hashim is trying to keep Duncan in close.
hashim lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duncan! hashim wants to control the pace but Duncan is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. hashim is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! hashim clinches with his opponent.

hashim pulls guard effortlessly. Duncan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. hashim is keeping the position for now. hashim not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
hashim is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Duncan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Duncan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. hashim wants to get back to his feet but Duncan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. hashim wants to clinch. hashim is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Duncan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. hashim rushes Duncan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duncan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

dave hashim dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. hashim lands a jab-cross combination. hashim lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duncan circles away quickly and effectively. hashim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. hashim darts in and clinches Duncan up against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. hashim decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Duncan, up you get! hashim wants to clinch. hashim is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Duncan swats away the attempt to clinch by hashim.
That's two minutes gone in the round. hashim tries to clinch up but Duncan circles away and keeps his distance. hashim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duncan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Duncan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. hashim ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. hashim no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Duncan trying to control but hashim is working from the bottom. Duncan tries to free his leg and advance position but hashim is retaining full guard. Duncan trying to control the position from guard on top but hashim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duncan wants to pass the guard but hashim is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
dave hashim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Duncan on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

A low kick from Duncan is predictable there and hashim counters with a body kick. No joy there for Duncan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. hashim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

hashim tries to close the distance and clinch but Duncan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. dave hashim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duncan with a poor takedown and hashim counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! hashim keeps control of Duncan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. hashim prevents a takedown attempt there.
Quinten Duncan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! hashim connects with a nasty looking knee right to Duncan's face.
And that's the end of the fight! dave hashim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well hashim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
