Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Captain Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matias Alderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alderson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Era- Ameno. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderson takes the fight into the clinch.
Alderson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Alderson stalling.
Evil manages to get to full guard.
Evil pushes Alderson off and scrambles back to his feet.

Alderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Evil was covering up waiting for the punch and Alderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Evil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Alderson wanted to stand there but Evil had control of the position.
Evil wants to stand but Alderson is controlling the position.

Evil is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alderson is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Evil scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Evil doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Alderson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Evil controls Alderson momentarily but Alderson frees himself.
Alderson is pushing down on Evil's leg trying to pass to half guard. Evil is fighting to maintain full guard but Alderson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Evil is trying to escape the mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matias Alderson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evil moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Evil feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alderson seems keen to control Evil's posture.
Evil is working Alderson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Evil wants to control from the top but Alderson keeps moving.

Evil is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Evil.

Alderson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Evil's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Evil's back!

Let's hope that Alderson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Alderson is not going to allow Evil to sit and survive in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Evil is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Evil breaks Alderson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Evil throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Alderson pushes Evil off and scrambles back to his feet.
Alderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Evil's guard.
Alderson is breathing heavily.

Evil is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Evil wants to stand and escape but Alderson is having none of it.
Evil trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Alderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Evil is retaining full guard.
Alderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Evil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Evil looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Evil tries for a takedown but Alderson circles away easily
and Alderson counters by moving into the clinch.
Alderson has Evil pressed against the cage.
Alderson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Alderson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Evil is trying to stand up here but Alderson is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Matias Alderson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Evil moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Alderson counters with a single leg into guard. Evil didn't expect that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Alderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alderson stands up from Evil's guard - Alderson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Alderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Evil swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Some wild striking there from Evil.
Evil getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Evil doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Alderson counters with a takedown into side control.
Evil can't do much from the bottom here.
Evil sneaks back into half guard.
Alderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evil keeps working.
Captain Evil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Evil is defending against the submission attempts here by Alderson.

Alderson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evil flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Alderson trying to control the action but Evil is working from the bottom.
Alderson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Evil kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Matias Alderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

I've got Alderson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
