Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Psycho Tookay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tookay comes to the cage accompanied by Animal I Have Become. Psycho Tookay has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Psycho Tookay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Wells! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tookay shoots in for a takedown but Wells shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adam Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tookay scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wells wants to get back to his feet. Tookay lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wells down.
Tookay wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wells, who protects the arm well. Tookay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wells knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tookay working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Wells is looking to regain half guard here but Tookay keeps moving and retains side control. Tookay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tookay looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Wells is controlling Tookay's trapped leg to prevent Tookay from advancing to side control. Wells wants to improve his position but Tookay is controlling well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wells can do anything to dispel that myth. Tookay thows a huge punch but Wells dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wells lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Psycho Tookay has been cut. A punch lands to the side of Tookay 's head but he takes it in his stride. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wells clinches. Wells just leaning against Tookay, taking a breather. Tookay's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wells tries to break free but Tookay pushes him back against the cage. Tookay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wells pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wells wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tookay has him pressed against the cage. Tookay tries to pull guard but Wells holds him up against the cage and eventually Tookay drops back down to his feet.

Wells scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tookay closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wells throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wells misses with a wild body shot. Wells tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tookay swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tookay shoots in for a double leg but Wells sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nice takedown defense from Wells. No joy for Tookay on that attempt. Tookay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wells avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Psycho Tookay. Tookay avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tookay shoots in for a double leg but Wells sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wells is looking to clinch but Tookay is avoiding it.

Wells really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tookay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wells avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tookay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tookay throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Wells keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tookay's head. Wells postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tookay is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wells.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wells wants to clinch up but Tookay keeps it at a distance. Wells moves into the clinch. Wells stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A right hand to the body from Wells.
Wells tries to break free but Tookay pushes him back against the cage. Wells looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee is keeping an eye on Wells - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Wells turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wells wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tookay keeps working. Wells scores with punches from side control.

Wells wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tookay, who protects the arm well. Tookay is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wells is controlling him well. Adam Wells showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Psycho Tookay's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wells scores with the left hand. Tookay knows he should have avoided that one. Tookay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wells sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tookay somewhat. Wells has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tookay has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wells is trying to keep an underhook but Tookay manages to get the takedown into half guard. Tookay trying to advance position but Wells counters by regaining guard. Tookay wants to control from the top but Wells keeps moving. Tookay drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wells looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wells looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wells! Wells wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tookay keeps working. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wells working the ground and pound. Sloppy strikes there by Wells. Wells landing strikes. Wells scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tookay to see if he's OK. Wells wants to stand but Tookay is controlling his arm. Wells cracks Tookay with an elbow. That is naaassty. Tookay on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Tookay takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wells tries to stand but Tookay is controlling his head. Wells works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Tookay taking a bit of punishment here - Wells scoring with strikes. Wells is working Tookay over with some ground and pound from side control. Wells looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tookay is avoiding damage well.
You can see the frustration on Tookay's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wells tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tookay wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Adam Wells is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wells changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Tookay takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wells shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tookay tries to lock up and control but Wells gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wells has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wells sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Wells wants to control the pace but Tookay is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wells tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Wells comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wells has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
