Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yogi Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mega Man Rock Medley. The key to victory for Jon Curtis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Curtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yogi Bear! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curtis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Curtis misses with a few strikes there.
Curtis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Curtis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bear avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Curtis throws a right and a left that both miss. Jab from Curtis. Bear gets a takedown into half guard. Curtis pushes Bear off looking to stand but Bear dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bear in particular looking to stall. Curtis wants to get back to his feet. Bear looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Curtis misses with a wild combination.
Curtis misses with a double jab.
Curtis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bear moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Curtis swinging wilding here.
Bear circles away from the clinch attempt.
Curtis throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Curtis throws a sloppy head kick and Bear moves out of range easily. Bear swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A combination from Curtis does no damage. Bear misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Curtis.
Curtis thows a left - swing and a miss! Curtis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Curtis fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bear tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. You get the feeling that Curtis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Curtis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bear controlling from mount. Curtis wants to get back to his feet.
Bear controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You get the feeling that Curtis really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yogi Bear dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Curtis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jon Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Curtis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bear. Bear gets in close and instigates a clinch. Curtis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bear blocks it with crossed arms. Bear pulls guard effortlessly. Bear wants to sweep here but Curtis controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curtis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bear is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis wants to stand but Bear is controlling his posture from full guard. Bear is controlling Curtis's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bear has a closed guard, preventing Curtis from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bear. Curtis looks to land a combination but Bear avoids it well. Jon Curtis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Curtis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A combination from Curtis does no damage. Bear gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Curtis. A combination from Curtis does no damage. Bear closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bear lands in his opponent's guard. Bear sitting in guard, not really doing much. Curtis wants to get back to his feet but Bear is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear is stalling in the full guard. Curtis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bear is controlling him. Bear pushes down on Curtis's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bear with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yogi Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Curtis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Curtis clinches but Bear breaks the clinch and Bear decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Curtis's guard. Curtis wants to get back to his feet but Bear is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bear's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bear makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bear won't allow Curtis to get back to his feet. Bear looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Curtis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bear looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Curtis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bear is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bear sitting in guard here, content to control.
Despite being in the dominant position, Yogi Bear just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A jab from Curtis misses. Curtis throws a series of punches but Bear avoids them all with ease. Bear pushes Curtis up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curtis tries a knee to the head but Bear blocks it.
Bear tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Curtis misses with a knee strike.
Bear has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Curtis clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Curtis is trying to stand back up. Yogi Bear is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear is riding his opponent, not letting Curtis buck him off. Jon Curtis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Yogi Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bear winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
